Coronary Heart
Disease- Exercise
Lack of exercise increases the risk of coronary artery disease. Therefore
it is essential to have exercise every day. Exercise does not mean
standing in local train or bus. Nor does it mean standing at the work
place. But at the same time it is not necessary to join a gymnasium
for exercise or to carry out some heavy difficult activities. Of course
if you can join a gymnasium it is good but is not the best option.
There are a lot of pleasant ways to carry out exercise. Walking is
one of the simple exercises. Unfortunately many people do not know
how to walk the right way! Walking the wrong way will put you in trouble.
Also your walking style has to be different for different end results.
For example the walking style for preventing heart disease has to
be different from the one to reduce your weight. Also you need to
know the limits. There is not a single formula that is sufficient
to take care of all. And the prescription of exercise has to be tailored
to suit an individual. For example some one is benefited only with
running whereas there may be another individual in whom even walking
may not be possible. Some of the yogic exercises will benefit an individual
whereas in others these same yogic exercises may be a risk to the
life. [Please also see the "Benefits
of exercise"]

or even in healthy individuals if not performed properly will lead
